In the Fiers & Forts family, we are fortunate to have Brahim, a coordinator and educator, holding a 3rd Dan in Shotokan karate and a certified coach. He imparts his passion for karate to children, instilling valuable values such as honor, humility, and self-control, which characterize this martial art and its instructor.
To live and understand essential values
Learning to channel one's energy
Developing self-confidence and self-awareness
Expressing oneself and communicating differently
Karate is a way of life that gradually leads to the mastery of both body and mind. Through this weekly workshop, children become familiar with the inherent values of this sport, such as honor, sincerity, courage, kindness, modesty, humility, integrity, respect, and self-control. All of these values assist boys and girls in their personal, physical, and emotional development.
Children often have boundless energy and emotions that they may struggle to control. Through breathing techniques, breath control, a cathartic shout, and precise movements, karate teaches them how to harness this energy on the tatami and in their daily lives. In addition to enhancing their awareness of their inner and emotional life, this workshop aims to encourage children to externalize and verbalize their feelings.
This is how the "karathéâtre" workshop was born!

The sweltering August heat is finally easing. The subject of back-to-school begins to mingle with those of the beach and pool, which have happily monopolized the children's conversations since their return from camp. A beautifully decorated letter is slipped under the office door...
If you've joined the Fiers & Forts family recently, you may be wondering whether the Center stays open during the summer... well, yes! The CFF is open 365 days a year, day and night, including weekends and vacations, because it's the home of the children we welcome.
