The Center has been welcoming children since 2004 and they have grown up!
Since their arrival, our Fiers & Forts have given everything to succeed in building themselves and their future. So we cannot let them go on in life without having fulfilled our mission, our promise: to give them every opportunity to become fulfilled adults who have found their place in society.
The Maison Fiers & Forts project was born to extend the Center's mission: accompany young people towards their social and economic integration in society

To welcome these children, we need a Fiers & Forts' family that believes in this project and is fully committed to their protection, their education and their future.
For the balance of this family, the team on the ground accompanies the children on a daily basis. In France and in the Netherlands, our teams are essential to support and perpetuate this welcome. The big family is enriched by our faithful partners and our committed volunteers who give their time and their heart for the children.

We made the choice of anonymity for this sponsorship, here are the 2 main reasons:
FAIRNESS
Like in a family, we share everything. We share our joys, our sorrows, but also very concretely every day we share this beautiful living space, our meals, and even the tasks of helping the community. To live in harmony all together, we pay particular attention to the fact that each one finds his place, feels equal to his fellow men, in respect, justice... We want to avoid inequalities, where one child is sponsored and another is not, where some receive gifts and others do not, where sponsorship does not become a means of comparison rather than a great support that brings us together and helps us to live serenely at the Center.
NOT TO REKINDLE THE WOUND OF ABANDONMENT
The children who live at the Center all have a painful history, and many traumas that they try to heal with time, accompaniment and the love of the whole team. One of their biggest wounds is that of abandonment. Our priority is to protect them, to preserve them by avoiding to rekindle the suffering, if one day a godfather or a godmother would put an end to this support. We are very aware that for the sponsors, it is important to put a face on this gesture of donation, in order to realize its impact. Well, it is not ONE but 36 SMILE FACES that you can associate with your generosity.

By becoming a sponsor, I commit to donate monthly the sum of 50€, or annually the sum of 600€, in order to support the life and education of a child of the Fiers & Forts Center.
The Association Fiers & Forts, who collects the funds in France for the Center, commits to give the entire amount of the sponsorship to CFF. The Fiers & Forts Center commits to using all of these funds for the above mentioned needs, namely food, school supplies, clothing and access to health care for the intern children.
The children are also committed to thanking you, by writing a letter twice a year, which will be sent to you, dear godparents. And above all, we look forward to your visit to the Center. Everyone is welcome at the Fiers & Forts and can come and discover our daily life.
In France, your donations allow you to benefit from a reduction of 66% of the amount of the donation on your income tax, within the limit of 20% of the taxable income. The Centre Fiers & Forts responds to the needs of the children and to the sensitivity of each generous donor. Throughout the year, we imagine and realize original and adapted projects in many fields: school accompaniment, sports and creative activities, garden planting, summer camps, but also specific medical expenses, construction or renovation of a space at the Center... All your ideas are welcome!

In order for the Fiers & Forts to live in a safe and harmonious Center, we need your help. It is only through your donations that the Center has been able to become this protective home for the children since 2004, and it is only through your donations that we can continue to offer them this place of growth.
Your monthly donation contributes in a very concrete way to the smooth running of the CFF. Giving means providing children with the light they need to do their homework at night, allowing them to take hot showers, and offering them quality support from qualified and committed professionals. The reality of the CFF is also a set of fixed costs, salary charges.
