Since the inception of the center, art has played an essential role in the emotional development of children. This workshop provides an opportunity to fully express oneself through a different language, to unleash one's creativity, to explore one's inner world, and to share one's emotions.
Exploring and expressing one's emotions
Discovering, developing, and unleashing one's creativity
Sharing and experiencing gratitude
Experimenting with various artistic techniques and means
Our educators have been trained by the Fourtou Foundation to conduct workshops through artistic mediation. They create tailored sessions and choose various means to meet the children's needs and realities. The program includes recycling, crafting, collage, drawing, painting, origami, pottery, carpet weaving, and all of this can take place indoors or in the garden. The workshop is scheduled every Wednesday, but many Fiers & Forts individuals have a strong artistic sensibility and take advantage of other, more individual moments to express themselves through art. It is often easier for them to put their feelings on paper, and these children have a lot to externalize. This overflowing creativity is also displayed on many walls of the center, bringing life and a lot of colors to our daily lives. This exhibition of creations is also a means of sharing emotions and contributes to building self-esteem through the recognition of our artists' talents.

The sweltering August heat is finally easing. The subject of back-to-school begins to mingle with those of the beach and pool, which have happily monopolized the children's conversations since their return from camp. A beautifully decorated letter is slipped under the office door...
If you've joined the Fiers & Forts family recently, you may be wondering whether the Center stays open during the summer... well, yes! The CFF is open 365 days a year, day and night, including weekends and vacations, because it's the home of the children we welcome.
