The Fiers & Forts skate!
In partnership with Concrete Jungle Foundation, the Fiers & Forts learn the basics of skateboarding as well as valuable life skills that can be applied beyond the skatepark. Within this context, they continue to develop qualities such as perseverance, respect, resilience, creativity, and many more. Skateboarding is also an excellent activity for releasing energy, gaining a better understanding of one's body, and making new friends.

The "Fiers et Forts" skatepark was constructed by Concrete Jungle Foundation in 2022 with the help of approximately 24 international and local volunteers. This 740 square meter skate plaza incorporates traditional Moroccan elements such as an arched gate and adorned ramps, and features regional natural patterns, including a ramp shaped like an olive leaf and two graceful palm trees. With its natural, black, and red ochre surfaces, this concrete playground seamlessly blends into the color palette of its surroundings.
Edu-Skate is a health promotion program through sports, aimed at fostering personal development through skateboarding. In other words, it's an education for fulfilling life through the joy of skateboarding! Our goal is to add value to the young individuals we work with by providing them with the necessary tools to become motivated and mentally balanced adults.
Edu-Skate focuses on developing skills related to the three fundamental psychological needs: competence, autonomy, and social relationships. The program consists of 11 lessons, each divided into two parts. The first part is designed to work on a skateboarding activity tailored to either a competence or social relationship dimension. The second part emphasizes autonomy and is less "structured." Specifically, our teachers adopt a pedagogical approach that promotes students' autonomy.
